الملخص
Construction companies face many risks that hinder them from completing projects at the planned cost, time, and required quality. The companies work to confront these risks through various methods and risk management plans. Therefore, the research aims to develop a model to evaluate the level of risk management practices in construction projects and companies in accordance with the international standard ISO 31000:2018. This model will examine all requirements of the risk management plan, and it will be applied to a case study of " The General Company for Roads and Bridges" in Syria. The data were obtained through a questionnaire distributed to engineers within the company, and analysed using SPSS. The results have shown that the proposed model is characterized by efficiency and ease of use, and that the average of the company’s commitment to the Specification items is 2.71, which is an average value. In addition, the item with the lowest value for the company’s commitment to it is "Continually Improving" in the risk management Framework, and the item with the highest value is "Defining the Scope" of risk management activities.
